Job Responsibilities
– Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages for guests, clients, visitors, and employees.
– Prepare Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, Mocha, and other specialty coffee beverages.
– Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and related equipment.
– Ensure consistent quality, taste, temperature, and presentation of all beverages.
– Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
– Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and other beverage supplies.
– Provide professional, courteous, and friendly service to guests and clients.
– Understand guest preferences and offer appropriate beverage recommendations.
– Follow company hygiene, food safety, and workplace standards.
Educational Qualification
– Minimum HSC or equivalent.
– Relevant Barista/Coffee-Making Training or Certification is required.
Experience Requirements
– 1–2 years of professional experience as a Barista.
– Experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, corporate office, or hospitality environment is preferred.
– Candidates with experience serving VIP, corporate, or international guests will receive preference.
Additional Requirements
– Strong knowledge of espresso-based coffee preparation.
– Good understanding of coffee beans, grinding, dosing, tamping, and extraction techniques.
– Skilled in milk steaming and frothing.
– Latte art skills will be considered an added advantage.
– Good communication and guest-service skills.
– Basic to good English communication ability.
– Smart, clean, and professional appearance.
– Responsible, punctual, honest, and well-mannered.
– Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service quality.
