Md. Abdul Baten
Chairman & Managing Director
Our journey began after the Liberation War of 1971 under the leadership of Mr. Md. Abdul Baten. He started his career as a professor and later worked in a spinning mill, before venturing into yarn trading with just 50 kg—laying the foundation of our industrial growth.
From becoming a Director of Shohagpur Textile Mills Ltd. in 1987 to establishing Karotoa, Enayetpur, Tara Spinning Mills Ltd, and many more, his vision has driven steady expansion. Today, the group operates across the spinning sector, RMG, fashion industry, social initiatives & Power generation plant guided by his integrity, dedication, and long-term vision.
Dr. Abdul Ahad Akil
CEO & Director
Dr. Akil Ahad, a resilient and forward-thinking professional, began his career in 2007 as a trainee at Tara Spinning Mills Ltd. Driven by dedication and deep industry insight, he steadily advanced within the textile sector, taking on key leadership roles as Director of Karotoa Spinning Mills Ltd and Deputy Managing Director of Enayetpur Spinning Mills Ltd.
In 2018, he expanded his vision into the fashion industry, marking a new phase of entrepreneurial growth. His recent achievements include founding Prekite Technologies, an IT and electronics company, and Brandxpart, a web and app development organization. He currently serves as CEO & Director of Karotoa Green Spinning Mills Ltd, where he continues to drive innovation, sustainability, and strategic excellence.
